Join us on October 22, 2025, for an exciting opportunity to raise funds and show your support for children battling cancer. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just want to enjoy a walk, everyone is welcome to participate in the SIOP Fun(d) Run & Walk in support of the University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa” in Tirana, Albania.
Why Participate?
This is a chance to connect with colleagues from around the world while raising crucial funds for the University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa” to help establish a foundation dedicated to improving the quality of care for children with cancer. Your participation will support the hospital’s mission to enhance patient care and provide vital resources for children in need.

What to Expect:

All runners and walkers are encouraged to make a donation to support the University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa.” Donations can range from €10 to €100 during registration.

If you prefer to participate without a donation, you are still welcome to join the event.

Please dress for the early morning hours— it may be chilly and dark at the start, so prepare accordingly.

About University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa”:
The University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa” in Tirana is the only service in Albania that provides care for all Albanian children with cancer. It is supported by a partnership with the Princess Máxima Center and is dedicated to providing high-quality care for children with cancer. The funds raised will help establish a foundation of parents and survivors that supports the development of high-quality of care for young cancer patients.
As the foundation is still being established, further details will be shared as they become available.
